Returns Policy

We strive to provide excellent customer service and ensure satisfaction with our products. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a return and/or refund.

Eligibility for a Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging, unopened. Only regular priced items may be refunded or exchanged.

There are non-returnable items, such as gift cards, items sold on special or promotion, and pre-cut cables.

Handling Fee

Returns will be subject to a 20% handling fee for goods correctly supplied that are returned outside of 7 days from the date of purchase.

Return Process

Should you wish to return an item for exchange or refund, you first need to notify us by email at: info@poweredups.co.za. Then you need to send the item with the original receipt to our premises at:

Partial Refunds

There may be certain situations where only partial refunds are granted, such as if the goods have been used, are not in the original packaging, are damaged, or are out of the 7-day return policy.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within 30 days and applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account, then contact your credit card company or bank.

Exchanges & Warranty Claims

We only replace items that are defective or damaged from the manufacturer. All electrical items must be installed by a qualified person. For solar installations, a valid Certificate of Compliance is required.

To return your product, you should mail or deliver it to our premises at:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We recommend that you use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over R500.00.
